Overview

Samsung was set to introduce Galaxy ON7, a mid-range smartphone with a powerful camera, long battery life, slim design and other features that outmatched any other phone at its price point, and the company aimed to market the new device to teens and university students as the perfect device for both social life and school work.

Approaches

Blink partnered with seven social influencers from various industries with large numbers of teens and students among their followers. Blink produced seven photos and one video for each influencer that highlighted aspects of their daily lives and featured the ON7, which were rolled out on the influencers’ own social media channels as well as Samsung’s Facebook page.

Results

The social media campaign was hugely successful, with over one million reached during a period of 2 months with likes, shares and comments that demonstrated strong interest in the ON7 among teens, students and young adults.
