What You'll Do
- Lead Visual Conception: Conceive, develop, and execute powerful creative concepts for integrated campaigns, brand identities, digital experiences, and content platforms.
- Elevate the Craft: Drive the visual direction of projects, ensuring the highest standards of design, photography, typography, and motion are maintained from start to finish.
- Guide Creative Expression: Translate strategic objectives into compelling visual narratives, ensuring all creative work is on-brand, on-strategy, and optimized for its intended channel.
- Inspire and Collaborate: Partner closely with strategists, copywriters, designers, and producers to foster a collaborative creative environment and build ideas that are bigger than any single discipline.
- Champion the Work: Articulate and present creative concepts with passion and clarity to internal teams and clients, building confidence and inspiring buy-in for bold ideas.
- Mentor and Develop: Guide and inspire junior creative team members, fostering their growth and helping to cultivate a culture of creative excellence.
What You'll Bring
- A proven track record (5-7+ years) in a senior design or art direction role within an agency setting.
- An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking and a mastery of visual storytelling across multiple channels (digital, social, video, and print).
- Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with modern design tools like Figma.
- A deep understanding of brand systems, digital design principles, and user experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire a team and confidently present to clients.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed, and collaborative holocratic environment.
